PPC (Practice Pistol Course)
This discipline stems from basic police training and includes shooting matches at distances that vary between 7 and 50 metres. The shooting positions are: standing with or without a barricade, sitting, prone, and kneeling. The firearms that are used are .38, .357, 9 mm or .45 caliber pistols or revolvers. There are also matches with 2½ inch barrels (snub-nose) and .12 shotguns (slug). Friendly competitions often take place in several areas of the province and elsewhere.
