Transporting restricted firearms is regulated and under Canadian law.
Sanction numbers by the Fédération québécoise de tir for its activities:
These sanction numbers are valid only if the person holds a transport permit issued by the Sûreté du Québec and is a member in good standing of the Fédération québécoise de tir.
For a competition sanctioned by the Fédération québécoise de tir au Québec in Quebec:
A person has automatic authorization for transport if he is a member in good standing of the Fédération québécoise de tir and if he has an authorization to transport..
For a competition sanctioned by the Fédération québécoise de tir au Québec outside of Quebec
A person has authorization to transport if he is a member in good standing of the Fédération québécoise de tir and if he is a member of a club for which he has an authorization to transport and has received an invitation letter. A person has automatic authorization for transport if he is a member in good standing of the Fédération canadienne de tir/ Canadian Shooting Federation and if he is a member of a member club of the federation for which he holds an authorization to transport..
