Complete the Bill 9 competency test

Provincial (Québec) Bill 9 competency test.
You must be 18 years old or older to do this course and attended the CRFSC to register.

You must successfully complete and pass both the CRFSC and CFSC courses to request a Possession and Acquisition Licence for restricted firearms.

Apply for a Possession and Acquisition Licence

(PAL or RCMP 5592) for a restricted firearm in accordance with the Firearms Act (for individuals aged 18 and over).

Take the CSFC training

(Canadian Firearms Safety Course)

Duration: 8 to 10 hours
Cost : 75 $
Information : 1 888 523-2863
You must pass the CSFC course in order to request a Possession and Acquisition Licence for restricted firearms. Passing the ICAF (hunting) course is not necessary to request a Possession and Acquisition Licence for restricted firearms. You can begin with the CRFSC and then do the CSFC.
